Pop Art Reflection

What is the strongest part (visual area) of your finished art piece? Why?  Personally, the strongest part of my piece is the lower left image. Whenever I look at the whole piece, my eyes are always drawn to that one because it's the most appealing to my eye.   What part (visual area) of your art piece can be improved on? How can it be improved?  I could change either the top left or the bottom right so they don't look so similar. I could use colors other than purple, orange, and green for one of them.  In what ways was the magic wand tool useful in creating your art work?  What did you do to make your portraits unique? The magic wand made it easy to select all the same shades of black, white, or gray to change it into a different color. To make my portraits unique, I tried to use not only different colors, but also different shades of those colors.  What was easy about this art activity? Explain  Shrinking all four pictures and combining them into one was

Hybrid Animal Reflection

What is the strongest part (visual area) of your finished art piece? Why? I think the strongest part of my piece is the wings because it almost does look like the seal is ready to take off flying.   What part (visual area) of your art piece can be improved on? How can it be improved? I could improve the face a little more because I think the eyes look a little weird. They aren't lined up perfectly so maybe I could've taken more time for that, or I could've used a different animal.  What tools did you use to create your work I used the move tool, the clone stamp, the eraser, and I used layer masks. How did you use these tools? Explain I used the clone stamp to add the top of the sky to the seal picture since it got cut off. For the rest of the project, I moved them all to line up each part I wanted from the other animals with the seal. Then I lowered the opacity to see what I was doing when I erased the parts I didn't want in the picture.  What

Reflection Questions:  Going into this project, I thought it would be really easy, but once I started I realized it was harder than I thought. The hardest part for me was coming up with the different designs for the three kaleidoscopes. The first one I did very few layers and I didn't really play with the colors at all because I wasn't exactly sure what to do. The second one had a lot of the same layer and that's when I tried to play with the colors a little more. That one isn't my favorite, but I like how I was able to duplicate the same layer to make it look similar to a flower. The last kaleidoscope I did ended up being my favorite. I didn't do as many different colors, but I kept layering and adjusting the color of every other layer and I liked how the middle ended up having some purple to stand out, and how the sun was really brightened to make the picture pop.  When making each kaleidoscope I mostly used the same tools for each one.
